Such good croissants. Be sure to bring cash with you, no credit cards etc. The family who owns it are so sweet.

The king cakes were superbly made and were delicious. No icing on top just the colored sugar and the dough was not the cinnamon roll type, although they may have it available? We had some brought in to work and the whole office fell in love with their freshness and taste, both original style and bavarian cream filled. You will not be disappointed.

Hi-Do Bakery is a favorite place for my son and I to enjoy fresh pastries and the like.

They have some of the best coruscants ever here. The almond and strawberry are to die for. The ham and cheese stuffed one is also wonderful. If your looking for a quick, and cheap breakfast, go here and you wont regret it.

I have been wanting croissant and they have lots of croissant options. Their other pastries are good too. I recently tried their raisin scone and loved it. Of course their king cakes are so good too. Great service. Super clean. Totally recommend this bakery.

Awesome find right on Terry parkway in gretna. Staff is super friendly and very fast. Bakery has awesome croissants of all varieties and they are great. King cakes are the best anywhere! And fresh baked French bread is perfect. I got a chocolate, strawberry cream and blueberry cream croissant, 3 almond cookies and a Bavarian cream king cake all for less than 30 bucks! If you are anywhere close to gretna stop in and thank me later

Picked up a Hi-Do Bavarian Cream King Cake from Hi-Volt yesterday on my way out. Being a local this was nice surprise. The bread was moist, nice flavor and the cream was nice and airy. I didn’t care for the icing. It’s also a small king cake for the price - generally good all around.

This is the only place I get my King Cakes. Simply the best in the West Bank if not the whole city.

My wife had a craving for pastries. Our bakery we normally go to in Gretna was closed so we found Hi-Do. This is a fantastic bakery! The service was superb. It was late afternoon so they were picked pretty clean but they had an assortment of croissants. I got the chocolate croissant, and my wife got the blueberry cream croissant. Both amazing! We then picked up a Bavarian cream king cake which was the best I've had yet. Finally, we grabbed a sourdough bread loaf. Being from California, I have missed sourdough bread immensely. Hi-Do's did not dissappoint. We have found our new favorite bakery on the Westbank

Good ham & cheese croissants, but the apple turnover was cold and nasty. They did exchange it for something else. Expired soft drinks. Cash only in high tourist area is a terrible idea.

The best bakery. The nicest owners

The bakery is good and worth another visit.But if you're looking for a king cake similar to Dong Phuong's, this is not it. While the king cake is soft and sweet, it's quite pricey for the size with barely any filling. The medium is the size of a small Randazzo(see picture). All-in-all, the Hi-Do Bakery is great for your daily bakery needs, just not the best choice for King Cakes.
